Built on the SC³ Technology™ platform, Cree's XLamp XP-E2 LED delivers up to 40% more lumens-per-watt and 200% more lumens-per-dollar than the original XP-E LED. Characterized and binned at 85°C, the XP-E2 leverages the XP footprint and is optically compatible with the XP-E and XP-G, providing drop-in-ready performance enhancements to existing XP designs for a shorter time to market. Combining high light output, reliability and efficiency in the proven XP-E package, the XP-E2 LED delivers up to 128 LPW at 350 mA, 85°C or 143 LPW at 350 mA, 25°C in cool white (6000 K). The XP-E2 LED can enable a broad range of high-lumen applications, from indoor and outdoor to portable and lamp retrofits.
