Excelsys Technologies' XF series of high reliability, ruggedized AC/DC power supplies is intended for harsh environments including Mil-COTS applications. The XF family of power supplies provides 400 W to 1000 W, with efficiencies greater than 90% in an extremely compact 1U x 268 mm x 127 mm package. Employing its innovative plug and play architecture, the XF family brings unprecedented flexibility that allows users to instantly configure a custom power solution in less than 5 minutes.

Designed to meet the demands of harsh operating environments, the XF family is ruggedized to withstand extremes in shock and vibration and is certified to Mil-STD 810G, integrity test for vibration. Ideal for use in applications subject to extremes in temperature, the XF family will deliver up to 1000 W over a wide temperature range from -55°C to 70°C. All configurations carry full safety agency approvals, including UL60950 and EN60950 and are fully characterized for EMI according to MIL-461F.

Other standard features include 47 Hz to 440 Hz input frequency, 1.5 V to 58 V standard output voltages, individual output control, completely field configurable, all outputs fully floating allowing series/parallel connection for non-standard voltages or higher output current, paralleling of powerPacs for higher system power, 5 V / 250 mA bias standby voltage provided, and offers ultra high efficiency up to 91%. Applications include harsh industrial, test and measurement, fixed and mobile radar applications requiring COTS solutions.
