FAN302HL PWM Controllers
ON Semiconductor FAN302HL PWM Controllers provide several features to enhance the performance of general flyback converters. The FAN302HL features ultra-low standby power (under 10mW at 230VAC). These ON Semiconductor devices provide constant-current (CC) control without secondary-feedback circuitry. This proprietary topology enables simplified circuit designs without secondary feedback circuitry for battery-charger applications. A proprietary Burst-Mode function with low power operation current minimizes standby power consumption. FAN302HL controllers also provides cycle-by-cycle current limiting to ensure the fixed peak current limit level even if a short circuit occurs. The gate output maximum voltage is clamped at 15V to protect the power MOS from high gate-source voltage conditions. ON Semiconductor FAN320HL PWM controllers are designed for use in battery chargers for cell phones, cordless phones, digital cameras, and power tools and can be used to replace linear transformers and RCC SMPS.
