Pam8406 digital amplifier class d, at 5 watts it does not pull, but 2.9 w is quite likely. i want to note that 8406 sounds cleaner and nicer than 8403 times in two! The sound is dirty, and the equalizer does not rule, but you need to realize that 5 volts and 0.6 amps of power do not shake your speakers for the night club! :) For homemade devices on arduino, or siren, a very good amplifier, you can assemble a small stereo speaker.Very pleased with the assembly on tpa3110, though from 5 volts it does not work, but even with 12 volts of power, it breathes clean (relative) sound as much as 9-10 watts, it does not make noise itself.
